يعود فيلم أفاتار ، أكثر الأفلام نجاحا في التاريخ ، إلى دور العرض أوائل الأسبوع المقبل في الولايات المتحدة والعديد من الدول الأخرى ، بعد إضافة مشاهد جديدة مدتها تسع دقائق ، كانت قد حذفت منه من قبل.
وكشف المخرج ، جيمس كاميرون ، أن المشاهد الجديدة تتضمن مشهدا غراميا بين بطل الفيلم ومحبوبته. وقال كاميرون ، وهو يعلن عن النسخة الجديدة من الفيلم ، :
